Against a backdrop of continued expansion and international ambition, including recent acquisitions and an emerging global footprint, London Marathon Events is now seeking to appoint two Non‑Executive Directors to its Board. This is a distinctive opportunity to contribute to the stewardship of an organisation that sets the benchmark for governance and impact in its sector. The Board is collectively responsible for ensuring robust governance, financial sustainability and effective risk management, while supporting the executive team to deliver ambitious strategic objectives. Non‑Executive Directors will provide constructive challenge and independent insight, helping to safeguard the organisation’s reputation and guide its next phase of growth, while maintaining close engagement with key stakeholders including the Foundation.

The successful candidates will bring significant Board‑level experience, with strength in governance, risk and assurance within complex environments. They will demonstrate sound judgement, commercial understanding and the ability to navigate organisational growth or transformation. Experience across commercial, public or charitable settings, alongside exposure to stakeholder engagement at senior levels, will be valuable. Beyond experience, they will bring intellectual curiosity, diplomacy and a collaborative approach, with the confidence to challenge and the wisdom to listen.
