The Trustees are now seeking an exceptional Director to lead Belmont House & Estate at a pivotal point in its development. Belmont has ambitious plans to grow its profile as a leading heritage and visitor destination, while protecting and enhancing the character, collections and natural environment that make it so distinctive.

As Director, you will shape and deliver Belmont’s next chapter: developing a sustainable long-term strategy, enhancing its gardens and visitor offer, growing audiences and partnerships, and leading a committed team of staff and volunteers. Working closely with the Trustees, you will provide hands-on, commercially astute leadership across heritage, events, property, community engagement and estate operations.

We are seeking an imaginative and collaborative senior leader, with experience in a complex heritage, estates, farming and property management, tourism, hospitality, cultural or visitor-attraction setting. You will combine strategic vision with practical delivery, strong people leadership and the confidence to act as a compelling ambassador for an exceptional place.
