River Learning Trust now seeks an outstanding Director of Primary Education to join its Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the Chief Executive and working closely with senior colleagues, the successful candidate will lead the Trust's primary school improvement strategy across 20 primary schools, shaping educational excellence, leadership development and future growth. Leading a team of Support and Challenge Partners, they will work alongside headteachers to secure strong outcomes for children, develop high-quality curriculum and teaching, strengthen collaborative networks and build talent pipelines for the next generation of school leaders. This is a rare opportunity to influence educational practice at scale, contribute to regional and national educational thinking, and play a central role in ensuring every child can flourish, regardless of background.

The successful candidate will be a highly credible and accomplished educational leader with substantial primary leadership experience and a proven track record of improving outcomes across multiple schools.
