Trinity College London
Trustees
Role Introduction
Trinity College London is a leading international awarding organisation, education publisher and independent education charity, established in 1872 and based in London. Working with candidates in more than 80 countries, it advances education for the public benefit through qualifications and assessments in music, drama, combined arts, English language and communication. Trinity’s mission is to transform lives through the power of communication and performance, combining academic rigour with accessible, inclusive and increasingly digital approaches to learning and assessment.
Trinity College London is seeking new Trustees to help shape the future direction of the organisation at a time of significant strategic opportunity and transformation. Working with fellow Board members and the executive team, Trustees will provide oversight, constructive challenge and expert guidance, supporting Trinity’s charitable mission, academic excellence, innovation and sustainable growth. Candidates will bring senior leadership, executive or non-executive experience and significant expertise in one or more of the following; academic leadership in higher education, qualifications or educational assessment; English language learning, language assessment, linguistics or music education; or finance, audit and risk, ideally alongside commercial experience. They will demonstrate sound judgement, a strong understanding of governance and risk, experience of change and complex or regulated environments, and a collaborative approach combined with the confidence to offer an independent perspective.
