Role Introduction

At this pivotal moment, CUH is seeking to appoint two outstanding NonExecutive Directors to join its Board. One appointment will serve as Chair of the Audit Committee, bringing deep expertise in financial governance, risk and assurance to support the Board in maintaining the highest standards of accountability and stewardship. The second role will bring seniorlevel commercial and strategic insight, with a particular focus on strengthening our relationships with industry and life sciences and assuring the delivery of our major capital programmes, Both NonExecutive Directors will contribute fully to Board leadership, offering independent judgement, constructive challenge and strategic perspective to support the delivery of highquality patient care and the Trust’s longterm ambitions.

 

CUH is seeking valuesled, collaborative individuals with the credibility and confidence to operate at Board level within a large, complex and regulated environment. Candidates will bring substantial experience relevant to their role, whether in financial leadership, audit and assurance, or in overseeing major projects, investment and organisational transformation. They will demonstrate strong strategic judgement, the ability to interpret and challenge complex information, and a commitment to probity, transparency and public service values.
